Dr.P.N Reddy has served as professor, Chairman & Dean of the Department of Commerce & Management in Bangalore University for about 20 years .He has published 58 research articles and authorized more than 50 text books on commerce and Management subjects which are popular and have been prescribed by many Universities. He has attended National and international conferences, delivered lectures to MBA students in many foreign Universities ,State public service commissions ,staff selection commission of the central Government and also associated with Union public service commission (UPSC) examinations. He has also worked in the capacity of the member of the University bodies such as Academic Council, senate and syndicate. He has guided more than 500 students in preparing project reports of M.B.A Course. 15 M.Phil students, 20 Ph.D students and managed one of the biggest departments in the country with 600 MBA students. He has received THREE EXCELLENCE AWARDS for his outstanding contribution in the field of higher Education. He is parenting our institution now.

Lorven College of Science & Management and Lorven School of Social Sciences were established in 2001. This Institution is founded by key academic and industry professionals with a view to meet the growing demands from industry for managers and other professionals. This Institution has been recognized by Govt. of Karnataka is affiliated to Bangalore university, approved by the All India Council for technical education (AICTE), New Delhi. The Institution is managed by a governing council and advisory council consisting from industry, business and academics.

We have a group of scholars, expert faculties and dedicated teachers to help students to find their niches by fulfilling their goals and realize their dreams. The campus life is congenial for education and offers state-of-the-art facilities and also has canteen & separate hostels for boys & girls. The Institution offers MBA, M.S.W, and M.A. (Economics).
